Join us for a day of singing great music in the beautiful setting of Shrewsbury’s glorious St Alkmund’s Church as we prepare for our forthcoming concert with the British Police Symphony Orchestra in October.

Non-members are very welcome.

Shrewsbury Choral are delighted to welcome the British Police Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr Richard Jenkinson, in an exciting collaboration to bring ‘An Evening of Opera Highlights and Hits from the Musicals’.

Programme to include music from Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Bernstein’s Candide and don’t forget to sing along to the glorious melodies of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s ‘The Sound of Music’.

Join us for a Come and Sing Day in Shrewsbury’s St Alkmund’s Church performing Haydn’s masterpiece, the Nelson Mass under the baton of Dr Martin Cook with accompanist John Bowen culminating in a performance open to the public.

Shrewsbury Choral return to the splendour of St Alkmund’s Church in WHITCHURCH to perform George Frideric Handel’s masterpiece of choral music, ‘Messiah’.

We are delighted to be performing Messiah with soloists Holly Teague, Helena Cooke, Will Smith and Peter Edge under the baton of Martin Cook.

Join us for a ‘Come and Sing’ day in St Alkmund’s Church, Shrewsbury where we will be singing John Rutter’s beautiful and poignant “Requiem” under the direction of Martin Cook with John Bowen on piano.
