The society is affiliated to Making Music which represents and supports amateur performing and promoting societies throughout the UK. Oswestry Sinfonia is an amateur symphony orchestra performing a varied repertoire. The Sinfonia regularly join Shrewsbury Choral Society for performances. For more information email oswestry@performers.co.uk Shrewsbury Cantata Choir is a mixed choir of between 40-50 members which performs a varied programme from great choral works to "lighter" pieces. Shropshire Music Trust presents a programme of music at different venues around the county. They feature a wide range of professional ensembles, soloists, orchestras and choirs, with a programme of music from across all ages and from different cultures.
The Society's concert in November 2008 is a collaboration with the Wilfred Owen Association
